There was a lovely article in the Canungra News this month which featured the Brocante. It was a lovely surprise to see us supported in print.
The Canungra Times is a small local newspaper owned by Keer Moriarty. Keer visited the Brocante and armed with her camera she took some lovely pics, especially of Sandy from Paint Me White and her mother Heather. Sandy is a great supporter of our event and is a very popular exhibitor.
Its is invaluable to receive this local support as the Brocante grows.
The Brocante is not affiliated with any local councils, festivals or any other entities. It is run by myself, with the help and support of any of my family members that I can gather at the time. I love the idea we offer a wonderful and unique shopping experience to our visitors in one small space. With exhibitors from the Sunshine Coast to Tenterfield in NSW, I appreciate each and everyone of them and their passion. They are an awesome bunch and they bring so much to Canungra, even if it only for a few hours twice a month.
I have some lovely friends that I often call on in a mentoring sense, Sandy, Wendy, Michelle and Katherine. Their advice and input is invaluable and I cherish our lovely friendships.
